Yeah, there are so many now that I don’t even try to distinguish between the ones for delivery and the ones that are in for service. Mostly though, it seems like the ones for delivery are behind the fence, but there are still plenty for deliveries in the front lot as well. Either way there are a...
Holy moly, lots of stuff in this vid. I met an Amazon van, Compass Yellow R1S, counted over 120 Rivians in the Denver lot! Oh, and six more arrived as I was there for the recall!
Thanks, but I already know my VIN is on the list. I just want to know more details about what the sensor is, how do we know it's not working, etc (for a video report about it).
Can someone explain how I can know if mine is working properly or not? I will go to the service center for recall but before doing that, I'd like to know if it's actually broken. thx
Yes, definitely dedicated tires for winter. I tried to get some this winter, but the deal fell through, so I’ll be aiming for some next winter now that it’s potentially spring. I say, potentially, but we probably have a few more snow storms in our future this year. :-)
I've been struggling with this one. I actually have a video all recorded about it but my wife nixed it. She said it's a bit too whiny, never mind the liability issues with insurance, etc. Generally, it went down like this:
While testing out snow mode I slid a lot further than I expected and...
I've had a few similar experiences. That's why I'm very cautious in this video especially driving down the bendy, icy roads. Fact is that it's bad to carry momentum into turns and downhills with this much weight. It's something I have to get used to.
Hi all, I've been out of commission for a couple of months thanks to lots of dad responsibilities (family first!) AND a little R1T mishap with a curb, causing 14k of damage to the front sub frame. Ugh. Not to worry, Robin let me and Oliver take Rosie the R1S up snowboarding in Winter Park. It...
@JaTorny sending this message on behalf of a fellow Rivian owner here in Denver: he’d like to buy it! Please send a private message to me and I’ll put you I. Touch. Thanks!
Minus 13 degrees (f) here in Denver - I thought it was a good excuse to go out for a very cold drive. I actually let the truck sit outside of the garage overnight to get the coldest battery possible. When I started it was 13 below and the truck was very cold. Over time, the range did start to...
Several people have asked about the spare on the R1S. It's a compressed spare (deflated) but, as we all know, there's an air compressor on board. So, the big question is how does it work. I went through the whole process. No, I'm not a mechanic (I just play one on TV) so if you DIY this be...
I would say hold off on a final judgment until you have a chance to drive. I do love driving the R1S even if I find the T a little better to drive. And, as I said in a previous comment, the gap between them has lessened over time. Yes, there are quirky things about driving the S that I would...
