That’s what I’ve been ended up doing each day. I was afraid to initially because of a bad / expensive experience at a public charger; didn’t want to break any components. BTW, a soft and hard reset didn’t make any difference.

From someone who’s Tesla battery pack fully discharged 1 mile from a charger, hours from a major metro area, and lost an entire day waiting on a tow truck (AAA-sourced, as Tesla roadside service said they can only assist in major metro areas), I’ll take every extra mile I can possibly get.

@EV Sportline I’d actually prefer a black color vs gray, so that they fade into the background. My opinion is they make the wheels look kinda goofy / weak in gray … like the Tesla Model 3 aero wheels.

I have a similar interest / desire / need, however, as stated in that Denver post, it was a Rivian test mule, not possible to purchase yet. I’ve reached out to many manufacturers and virtually none have any plans to make anything for Rivian … it’s just too soon … not enough demand.

Issue is will Discount Tire lift it to rotate tires only via the jack points, or the Rivian Service Center, due to liability reasons … forcing me to remove these sliders before I take it in.
