Always sad to hear news like this, but a lawsuit to protect aged investments that have not evolved over time, doesn't benefit consumers. I'd argue it constrains markets and ultimately costs more for just about everyone.
If crypto currency price gets to high, can/will owners and printers of cash...
Absolutely!
Best part is we now live with right next to our state park so you'll have another reason to head this way after leaving the Normal Plant.
You know how to find me!
Take care
@DuckTruck I 100% share your passion on this one. It still makes me smile thinking about it each passing day.
Normal and Rivian means so much to so many, and I personally felt overly compelled to preorder a Rivian as soon as they started taking deposits.
My first love (my Model S) was such a...
Honestly all can be forgiven....
. BUT!!!!!
Moving Max Pack Totally optioned out Pre-order holders to the back of the line (2022).
My Max pack R1T not only was gonna be my 40th B-day gift to myself, but I think I was in the first 300 for preorders and wanted to have the personal...
Good points, but the powered frunk does check the box of an automated storage area that's truly hands free.
Honestly truck beds are meant to be used and abused, the hands free frunk and it's size makes this far less of an issue. Also with the air suspension load leveling could make the rear...
On my first initial thought going in and out of a truck bed getting items and gear is on par with getting things out of the back of an SUV.
In my mind having a powered tailgate was like having a powered rear hatch. After all the R1T has the distinction of a unique feature in way of the power...
This is both glass half full, and half empty, and really depends on the individual buyer.
I'm very curious to see what the new GMC Sierra looks like (new digital clusert, larger infotainment screen, super cruise, etc.) but again that's already a 70k truck and it's price will only go up. However...
I just subscribed to the Motortrend app two weeks ago for the new Top Gear America.
Too funny.
Really enjoying it, but I'll check out the Ferrari biography.
Thanks
It's funny you mentioned italy, my wife and I were there when Rivian had they're 3rd preorder appreciation event and sadly couldn't attend. Kinda took the wind out of our Rivian tailgating party.
We weren't checking out Ferrari's though, just taking in the history and culture and visiting her...
The autonomous driving component is without saying included in the #3 and the braking in #4. But yes those are crucial for me.
I had 60k miles on Modle S and didn't need new brakes becuase of the electronic calipers and assisted regenerative braking wear so well.
Absolutely love those...
My reasons are as such...
1. Really want and need a truck now that I bought some land and live out in the "country".
2. Drive a ton and am in bad weather a good deal while commuting and a capable vehicle is extremely important to me.
3. In my car a lot (35k miles/year) and need a luxurious...
I think it looks phenomenal!
Yeah the armrest door skin separation is a minor thing, but I think the R1T is only getting better with time! Exciting!
Questions...
1. So it's the Launch Green, with a Matte Black wrap? The interior does look dark green to me (headliner also lighter then...
I use a place by where I live. Got my wheels and calipers done for what Rivian charges for the dark option. Life time warranty and painted powder coated finish.

Honestly, I've had my wheels coated 3rd party on my last 3 vehicles and all it's cost me was $650. $1,700 jump ($3,500 option) seems a bit steep.
I'll probably just do it aftermarket, but I would love to see them both in person before making my final decision.
I'm holding out for the 400+...
