I have reservations for both, just very disappointed with Rivian's progress and focus on "Adventure videos" versus production ramp up and potential owner updates. I already know significantly more about CT than my R1S.

Compare both videos on how an actual car manufacturing plant looks. There is so much core equipment Rivian doesn't have in place, it's scary.

That is all assumption until the actually ship a few 1,000 and we see what the quality is really like. You can bet they will have issues.

I was so excited about Rivian, but after seeing TESLA's approach, I am taking the blinders off and am more skeptical of them now. Imagine how far away LUCID and NIKOLA are if this is as far as Rivian has gotten.

yes, but they have built an entire factory in china and produced cars, have 20% of a Berlin factory done, and broke ground in Austin in the last 12 months. Rivian has had almost 4 years since closing on the Normal Il plant (already fully built FYI, and has produced zero)

So a 90% empty factory. Any side bets gigaFactory Austin is making trucks before rivian? They have like one lift and 4 robots and a stack of tires. You notice how no shots were wide angle of the factory. Just two or three little areas. Heck one even had an 18 wheeler in it to make it look bigger.

When did you order your R1S. mine was 12/18/18. At least with Tesla, I know i am # 31,542. There is probably a decent chance CT beats my R1S delivery.
