Same here. ABRP for planning but native navigation for actual driving. Iāve also used the paid ABRP for connecting my Audi and Rivian, but felt it was of minimal value since I donāt try to get every last kWh out of the battery and. I didnāt see ABRP adjusting charging stops on the fly based on...
Also, what I left out of my earlier post was that part of my rationale in buying, even with all the risk, was the avid fanbase for Rivian and published surveys showing those with Rivians had the highest level of satisfaction. This spoke to me that Rivian probably has a sales floor that will...
I bought stock a few months ago at only a slightly higher price, and it seems to just hover around its current price for this year. Schwab rates the stock an āFā, meaning one should probably sell (as of 5/30/2025). But there are a few out there that rate this higher. Generally the trend seems...
All good advice here. I always do a lot of planning via ABRP and use Rivianās built-in mapping for destinations to precondition the battery. When I want to go to a charging station not on Rivianās map, for example FPL EVolution in FL, then I choose one nearby for preconditioning but go to the...
Okay, Iāve been following this thread for a while and the title has always bothered me. To the point now I just have to ask. Did the OP really mean āflatulenceā not āfatulenceā?
Given Rivian was designed from the start to incorporate ADAS, and had access for o see how others implemented it, I am really underwhelmed by the mapped roads implementation. My 21 Audi eTron Prestige beats it hands down, working on virtually all roads. But that car is likely higher end than my...
Iād add for those of us that lease that this is a cost we will never recoup unless we buy the vehicle at the end of the lease. Plus the amortized value over the lease term is too high. And the lease company would be in their rights to require removal.
Thanks for the info. I know you said you have 50% material available but in Florida you are not allowed to have any tint on the windshield below the AS-1 line. So a no tint option would be needed, although you could probably get away with 90% or 80% as this would not be that noticeable. Front...
Wondering what the timeline for the R1T back window is? Also, the windshield. A lot of heat enters through the windshield. Tempted to get the sides if I know the rest is coming. I used TWRAPS front end wrap and it came out great.
Why is that dumb? Rivianās current SC model is straining to keep up. Partnering for some work makes good sense, especially since VW service centers are closer to most folks.
You didnāt say whether you waited after install. When I had one of my other cats professionally done, the installerās instructions were to not roll the windows down for 24 hours. Presumably this is to let the glue set to avoid such issues.
My experience exactly. Before the last update I NEVER used Sport mode as the ride was just too unacceptable. Tried it after the update and noticed quite a difference. The ride was acceptable on regular roads, still a little jarring on rough roads. It is one of those things that when you feel...
Iāve had my R1T for about a year now. I really like the truck but am disappointed that the plastic trim at the top of the tailgate is so susceptible to nicks and scratches. Because the R1T bed is short, I often end up carrying items like lumber perched on this trim and then pull them out over...
I worried about this too before a trip I took from Florida to Texas. I have an R1T With the air compressor, repair goop, and 22 in sport tires. I was worried more about a nonreparable tire as I had just had a sidewall gouge that forced me to buy a new tire. And while 22 in tires are easier to...
My old school mind mentally likes the idea of a physical key fob, but in practice I donāt use it. I use my phone, with the key card in my wallet for emergencies when the phone stops working (happened twice!). I guess it would be useful for a valet or loaning the vehicle to someone, or if your...
I have a late year 23 R1T and I am not seeing any difference between front and back. As with most cars the paint is not mirror smooth but my Rivian paint quality is about the same as my Audi. Very acceptable, IMO.
No, this is not way more work. It is less work. Someone in the community knows the answer, and no one is forcing you, or anyone else to reply. And if people canāt use the forum to find answers, honestly, what good is the forum anyway? I, myself, access it to learn things, not to bump fists...
Accessing this forum and asking the question IS research. What the OP did was very logical. This isnāt something you find in the ownerās manual or Rivian paperwork.
Like everyone else, my paperwork said 100 but it actually had about 10. I understand 100 miles is the limit for a ānewā vehicle and I believe Rivian is just putting the max in rather than verify actual mileage. This makes some sense since all the buying is done online and Rivian usually needs...
