I was just doing what was in the manual holding the switch up or down at the first click for 10 seconds. I'll try the ride menu and see if I can run a calibration from there this afternoon.
Anyone have had an issue with the app always showing the windows as open but it is actually closed? I think it started after the last app update. Now that the weather is actually getting hot I like to vent the windows but can't anymore as app thinks they are open. I've tried calibrating all...
It's not that the truck doesn't know the phone is near it makes the vampire coffin creaky noises and random boops and bops while walking near it just refuses to unlock for a good while.
I have the same frustrations even using a key card you just stand there and wait forever for it to let you in at some point. It's the dumbest part of owning this truck. Key fob works every time.
I'm just glad it only happens at home as proximity works fine everywhere else.
Agreed pointless feature, never even turned it on, don't need a nanny. Same goes for all that self driving nonsense, speed reminders and etc. I enjoy driving and prefer to be in control at all times, if I don't want to drive I'll just hand it over to the wife.
Also in MA, if you don't go...
Exactly release it in spring so no one can put it to the test and by next winter none of us will remember the difference.
I do like the smooth ride enhancement hopefully it actually is noticeable. I hate that it bucks over expansion joints just seems like they tuned the rear to go stiff as soon...
Setup your own home assistant server. Can be done for less than a $100 or free if you have an old PC lying around and all the instructions are on their site and github just takes some time to read carefully and follow.
That's fantastic, how easy is it to switch back and forth from the Rivian UI to this? I'd love to hear more on how you were able to override the Rivian UI but understand you if you don't want to share all the details.
Donald is correct, the next carplay wants to take over both screens which is why most automakers are moving away from it. The current iteration of carplay isn't the issue it's the next one that's a problem.
Above quote says it all...
The anti Apple stance many automakers are taking isn't due to some grand conspiracy it is all a result of Apple's closed ecosystem, usage policies and licensing terms. It's Apple's own doing so if anything you should be complaining to Apple to making barriers to entry so difficult.
Exactly this, so many people don't understand the concept and just yammer on about AA/Carplay. This is a much better way to do it than AA/Carplay as you get the full experience, you just log in with your profile and everything is there. Only want would be the ability to use a hotspot instead...
Wd black 2tb probably overkill for this application but works great
