yeah marketing people are dumb. Always wondered why no one made one of these coolers a long time ago, it's not like this tech is new or something. Nice cooler but I'll wait for the knockoffs to start flooding the market I really have no need for a $400 cooler at the moment.
Sounds like someone just has too much time and equipment on their hands. Maybe just set the mode to always pull in outside air or open a window and not worry about it
Mine does it only when the windshield is dirty with things such as pollen, dust or dried condensation marks. I just end up turning automatic wipers off until it actually rains as the dry wipe will cause scratches eventually rather not risk it.
Have you tried ordering the part yourself? They will most likely sell it to you. Their system requires the part order to be added to your account as a service ticket so they only sell to the owner or authorized service shops. The one time I needed a part they were happy to help.
There are 2 compressor pumps in the back, actually 3 if you count the auxiliary air. But 2 are always active the suspension air compressor and kinetic suspension fluid pressure pump. The kinetic pump makes whirring noises on passenger rear barely audible, the air compressor is louder vibration...
Not really easy data to come across unless you are in the insurance business. Not something many people would post online about in respect to the victims.
I tried searching old insurance auctions for biohazard Rivians but the history databases don't have a Rivian filter yet.
I thought they were mostly fair with their criticisms a lot of those are the same things I really don't like about mine and we see those same complaints on this forum. Most are all minor things and owners can easily dismiss them but as reviewers it is their job to point out all these things.
Yup such a dumb trend, especially when they freeze over in an ice storm or get snow behind the handle. Unnecessary complexity for the sake of being "software defined"
Agreed can't blame you for not wanting to wait. Luckily I have many cars so not an issue for me but if I relied on the Rivian for my daily needs it would have been gone already, service wait times and replacement parts are a huge problem, the last 2 times I needed service was a 2 month wait...
I voted yes because it is still good at being an all in one vehicle. In reality no I would never buy again because there are way too many good cars out there to just stick with the same thing again and again. I never buy the same car twice unless it's an all new design of the same model.
What a night, glad you were prepared and able to free yourself.
Contacting the SC is a pain but you can do it after you place a service ticket through the app. It's easier if you go to the SC and as long as you actually own the vehicle they are more than willing to order parts for you and...
To be fair, colors will look different in sunlight than indoors, lighter colors will look lighter and darker ones will look darker in direct sunlight. Agreed some of their color names don't really match the color. I see the dune color more like light tan or light beige than yellow so it could...
Apparently it's upto $31k off, a screaming bargain if you need something like this.

This scenario is probably the only time a independent dealership is useful but they'd low ball you on a trade so maybe not. Rivian doesn't really have cash reserves to give back and even if they did it would be too risky to pay up front for a depreciating asset especially when they are offering...
