I have owned my R1T for just one week, and finally decided to try some of the other drive modes for fun. I was on a gravel road so wanted to see the high suspension setting so tried some of the off-road modes. All was fine until I drove up the road and the truck felt like it hit the brakes. I...
I'm far more likely to forget my watch than my phone. Wallet...keys...phone was the old ICE 'what do I need before I leave the house' routine. Now it's just wallet...phone (with key card in wallet).

Thanks, that's great info. I don't have charging at home sorted yet, building a garage and have to increase the service to my house. It's coming this year though.
When you say get a service history, I assume you mean via the owner?
I'm new to EVs and looking to swap my full size gas guzzler for an R1T. There are a few used Gen1 Quads in my area ranging from 10k miles to 55k miles. Is there a list of things I should check when buying a used one, other than the obvious one of kicking the tires?
I did a quick calculation on a Tri R1T that is currently in the shop. Price before the Canadian price hike with the current discount offer VS what it may cost after price hike, without the discount, and a tariff on top. This is for a sale in BC with the escalating PST (bumps up 5% at $150k)...
I'm not sure I agree. If you add the recent $7k-$10k price hike then a 25% tariff on top of that you are looking at an after-tax price of $250K for a tri motor. There are luxury buyers that might spend that type of money but the average person won't.
No, of course others will be affected. However some manufacturers do produce in Canada and larger players can more easily get through this stretch vs an unprofitable startup.

Reuters is reporting EVs included: https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/canadas-plan-retaliatory-tariffs-us-2025-03-04/
