I clicked on the link too. A Nigerian prince, who coincidentally works for Rivian, was able to set up my appointment for only $400 in Visa gift cards.
So all is good.
I think I'll throw a pair of needle nose locking pliers in the car. Looks like one could grip the cable behind the nib and still use the release.
Thanks for the photo.
@TTedP , thanks for the tip. After many years of DCFC charging, this is the first I have heard of a manual release on top of the CCS plug.
Does anyone know if this is a feature on all CCS chargers, or just this one specific brand?
I can confirm that they both show up in the Rivian nav.
In Silverthorne, just make sure you go to the new SC site, not the old v2 site next to Starbucks. Only the new site is compatible (and it's the only one that shows up).
No MagicDock, so you'll need an adaptor.
See you on the slopes!
Excellent result...thank you for the update. I am getting very good results with my 2 amp Noco Genius 2, but haven't had a chance to test it over a long, multi-day period. I'm happy with my short term results so far.

Difficult change for future vehicles: significantly improve the efficiency. I love my quad R1S, but often feel like an environmental...
Great info!
I read others that had problems with tire stores refusing to mount 115 load index tires on Rivians (vs 116h).
Who installed thes for you in VA?
I'm in the same boat as many others on this thread. I have 31,000 miles on the original 20" ATs, and showing 6/32" tread remaining. I do very little true off-roading.
Given our Colorado winters and some white knuckle experiences in deep, wet snow, I did invest this past winter in a dedicated...
