I have had this happen 3 times. I start the session, session gets taken over by Rivian app at the higher non-member rate. I have sent info to Rivian. Session was started with the Tesla app, I did not use navigation to reach the charging station. Tesla app gets interrupted and Rivian continues...
Thanks for your help. The membership price kicked in as long as I followed the instructions given.
1-do not use navigation/charging on the Rivian to arrive at the destination
2-use tesla app to select station
3-then plug in
4-start from app charging.
