Got one if still needed. I'm in 08816
  2. Rear turn signal lights are not in sync

Was checking if my trailer lights were working when I noticed this. Time to sell? Video is in slomo
  3. Mobile appointment had an extra line added - Clean portable charger pins and install 3 new seals | FSAM-1197

Have an appointment coming up in few days and when I went to sign the approval I saw this extra line item.
  4. Inspection in SE PA.

EV's don't need inspection in NJ though
  5. R1T vs Model S daily driver and Model Y for towing

I have T and Y, biggest difference is that the T uses real miles when showing remaining charge, not Elon miles. If it says it'll go 280 miles, at the very least it will do 280 miles (but not if it's below freezing). Daily driving the T will last further but it will also take longer to charge...
  6. Anyone have water in their front camera?

There's a new SC in Trenton, see if they can schedule you there instead.
  7. PSA: R1T drifts (at 25 and 35 PSI) -> popping a bead (twice)…

I did few donuts at 30psi just fine. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/had-my-r1t-alignment-fixed-at-independent-3rd-party-alignment-shop-spec-sheet-attached.9948/
  8. What 's the best way to deal with scratches like these?

Go to Harbor Freight, get a $100 Bauer rotary buffer/polisher, some pads and polish and polish it out. It won't look brand new but you'd really have to look for the scratches to see them.
  9. Trenton vs Brooklyn Service Centers, holy crap what a difference

Had an ongoing issue with my T where there would be clicking/popping noises from the back when on high suspension and accelerating hard while turning (as in merging into a busy highway from an unpaved road). There was also minor shuddering/vibration when accelerating hard between 30 and 50mph. I...

All you buttholes with the S need to start waving/flashing back:). There's at least 3 R1S that I pass almost daily and they never even acknowledge me. R1T's on the other hand always wave/flash back. Holla to the red canyon R1T in Monroe/Old Bridge.
  11. Keep Porsche 991 (2019 Carrera) & buy a cheap Truck OR trade-in Porsche for a Rivian

So I switched from a supercharged E90 M3 that made 550hp to the wheels 2.5 years ago Pros * Rivian is faster in straight line and off the line (up to 110mph ?). Obviously it cannot corner, brake or transfer weight as well but it does manage its weight pretty well all things considered. * It's...
  12. Rivian and EZpass question...what code do you pick? does it even matter ?

BTW gentlemen, not sure if this is public knowledge but you don't have to buy your state's EZPass. I live in NJ and have New Hampshire EZPass cause there are no service fees and for the initial $30 deposit you can get 4 tags.
  13. Rivian and EZpass question...what code do you pick? does it even matter ?

I didn't even know it's a thing. I think I still have my 2001 Audi A4 set as primary in EZPass. Just set it to car/SUV, I wouldn't worry too much.
  14. Trenton SC is officially open and taking appointments.

Had a mobile tech today over for a drivetrain issue (loud clicking noises from the back when accelerating from a stop and making a turn). He said it's a major issue and a service visit is needed ASAP so he booked me for Trenton SC for next week. Also someone on Discord just now was able to...
  15. My R1S rear ended a delivery truck - results

No, it slams on brakes and accelerator is disabled, then once obstruction is gone it gradually increases acceleration sensitivity (by "gradually" I mean like in 1-2 seconds) OP, I usually ignore navigation when I know the way. NJ to JFK is a no-brainer because there's little to no alternate...
  16. My 2019 Tesla MX chargers faster

They charge at the same rate but there's more battery to charge on the Rivian.

@mikysee Important to keep your bearings in place, can get lost even on larger roads. Also avoid larger puddles, never know how deep they are.

  19. Ghetto method of powering the house with a Rivian

This came up a lot. Easy answer: I'm getting solar installed, but for that I first need to remove trees that cast shadow on the roof, then I need the actual roof replaced, then electrical panel upgraded and only then begin permit/build/install process of solar. So it makes no sense to do any...
