  1. New to Rivian - Drive Mode Question

I have owned my R1T for just one week, and finally decided to try some of the other drive modes for fun. I was on a gravel road so wanted to see the high suspension setting so tried some of the off-road modes. All was fine until I drove up the road and the truck felt like it hit the brakes. I...
  2. Screen animation question

Just got an R1T. On this screen, I have seen videos where the tires show power delivery and regen, mine don’t. Is that just gen 2?
  3. My first EV

Lurking for ages, finally found a used one (2023) with the spec I wanted. Blue with black 22s and ocean coast. Love it so far.
  4. What should I look for when buying a used R1T

I'm new to EVs and looking to swap my full size gas guzzler for an R1T. There are a few used Gen1 Quads in my area ranging from 10k miles to 55k miles. Is there a list of things I should check when buying a used one, other than the obvious one of kicking the tires?
  5. Canadian Price Increased

Rivian just bumped up pricing in Canada stating a currency exchange adjustment. They are using an exchange rate > $1.50 which is very high and after tax puts the Tri models north of $200k after taxes. Ouch. I was looking daily for a Tri in the shop, hoping to take advantage of the CAD $8600...

  7. R3 looks great

Sweet ride. Wheels look massive on this little car.
  8. Cybertruck vs R1T - Decision Made

I was holding my day 1 reservation until we knew specs (not great) and Canadian pricing (also not great but cheaper than a Rivian) but made the choice for an R1T today. Just saving up some cash before I can pull the trigger. Unlike some here, I still think the Cybertruck has some advantages...
  9. Gen 1 Quad Large vs Gen 2 Dual Max

I'm in Canada (if that matters). There are some incentives on Gen 1 trucks and I can get a gen 1 quad large for a bit less than a gen 2 dual max. Quad has the performance but the dual max has a lot more range (and the gen 2 upgrades). Thoughts one way or the other? My other option is to save...
