I don’t agree that the Gen 2 fixes the issue.

I don’t believe Gen 2 has fixed the issue. I have front to back movement in an R1S that is bad enough to cause some car sickness on a regular basis.

Perhaps they are preparing for the new "real" large battery release and they want to clear out all of the software limited max batteries (known as Large+) first.

Well, not the best of news - we are relying a JuiceBox to power two vehicles. I'll start researching the next option for the garage, in case the JuiceBox fails. At least it isn't another electric vehicle company going out of business.......

Totally agree! I picked up my new Gen 2 R1S on Saturday - immediately changed the EQ settings based on advice on the forum. Proceeded to drive 175 miles back to my house - sounds good to me.

Looks like the warranty terms are modified for the demo units to account for the time the vehicles were used as demo units.
