Carplay for me is for older gen cars that doesn't have much built-in tech. It works well in my 10-year-old Sienna. For Tesla/ Rivian, I really don't need it
Not just Rivian, Teslas have 12V battery issue too. My Model 3 had a dead 12v and it was changed under warranty as well. It seems like too much tech shorten the life of the 12v battery
1. $80K for the AWD wasn't something that I signed up for back in 2019
2. The CT that I test drove had warning signs. I really didn't think this car was ready
3. After being early adopter of the Model 3, I've learned my lesson that it's better to wait a bit longer
