I agree, the Rivian is too heavy. A rock slider may save some under skin, but wont safely lift/hold a vehicle. Ins. compaines require products of safety to be listed as such in a specific application.

There is an EV club that meets in Ventura on Thompson Bl. at a dinner. They may be that whole area, they have a reasonably large membership, but it is EV, not Rivian.

If Bakersfield met in Bakersfield, that would be 100 miles closer than Santa Barbara! I can do Bakersfield in 75 miles oneway. Palmdale is 50, Mojave is 30. Tehachapi is in the Sequoia Mtns. between Bako & Lancaster/Mojave. It is a great snow mtn. area, but not many Rivians.
