Yeah wished they would take a few months and stop adding features and fix the damn software. I give a rats ass that my climate opens faster. Apps and the whole stack rebooting all the time is not optimal.

Since the last update, mine adjusts almost every other stop light. I haven’t parked for a long time to see if sagging is an issue. In early June I will. What was your fix?

We love the Tesla SCs as well. But that el centro one sucks so we skip it. On the last trip as we were passing it on the I-8, sure enough full and having a Rivian take 2 spots? No bueno.

Excellent insight and I’m going to try this. On my Phx-SD trip I avoided one Tesla SC stop because it’s always a shit show there. I made it to Dateland with 10%. Not quite your balls of steel with 2% lol

Charging speed factually sucks on Rivians compared to the competition. I got the max to alleviate more stops like your idea. It works, but your stops are a lot longer. I don’t like to charger hop, so we just bite the bullet.

As someone who drives in mountains and cold quite a bit, I can say you are getting what you should. The heat pump also kills the efficiency. It takes me 270 miles of range to drive 160 miles (max pack)

I really need to start looking into panels just to charge my cars. Full solar was hugging $40k for my total needs and would never see that money back before we sell the house (our electricity rates are still cheap)

Cost us $180 to drive from Phx to San Diego and back in March. Our Toyota Sienna? About $100 - and we didn’t have to wait around to charge. Evs suck for roadtrips from a cost perspective. Having said that, you couldn’t pay me to go back to ICE
