I have the same - G2 R1s DM; early build of September. My numbers are also close. I travelled 815 miles last week, and my stats are: (all Tesla Superchargers)
*16.4% - 89.4% in 51 mins - max 205 kW; avg 125 kW. That doesn't match, because it required a deep charge for a long stretch.
*13.6% -...
As suspected and reported early in the thread, by Gen2 was not sleeping long - a bit over an hour at a time, and then down to no more than 45 mins. Before they had a chance to change 12v (had mobile appt.), I got all the errors including critical battery, and then wouldn't finish booting up and...
I only got my G2 R1S Max less than 4 months ago - about 8,500 miles. About 2 or 3 weeks ago, I told my wife that the Riv quit sleeping all night - roughly an hour on/hour off all night. Then about a week ago, I got the message for a proactive battery change.
My thought is that the Rivian...
The size is terrific. I don't find it difficult to park at all, and I came from a Model Y, and also have a Bolt. It has an amazingly tight turning radius that really helps to line it up from a row of cars.
The only downside has been some quirkiness due to a young company - mostly software, but...
I showed earlier that mine went from sleeping most of the time (43.30) to now, sleeping rarely with 1 minute sleeps. That’s now settled in to cycles of sleeping 1:03 and awake 1:03.
There was talk on another thread - don’t remember if here or Reddit or…) of sensors on Gen2 were supposed to be...
Same experience. It's not really a nuance of owning an EV - just the Rivian. For now. They'll get it fixed in an update. Just figure % needed and how much 11 kW per hour get you - about 7.6% per hour, for the Max Pack. Still - you're right - should be simple for the app to get it right.
Last try to get across it's not that: The time doesn't move for some time. it's not counting down like it would be if it was a calibration issue. Don't think a calibration issue would be inconsistent in time, anyway. I've driven from 95 to 3%. kWh matched expected. It sits at the same time to...
It's not. It charges at a hair over 7.5% per hour - about 11 kW. It's consistent. The percentage is correct. But the TIME it says it will take is off by quite a lot, if it's around 5-10% SOC when starting.
If you're talking DCFC, yes, it's a little off up to about 70%; more off if going higher.
There's not much charging curve on L2, and it's still quite a lot off if you're very low. If you're up around 35-40% or higher, it seems more accurate. I just know that I'll add about 7.5% per hour on 48...
Would you mind posting a link to the accessories? I'm having a hard time finding well reviewed accessories on the '25's, and some of the accessories don't cross over. TIA!
I went back and compared the '25 R!S max pack to the '22 Model Y at 70% on the same supercharger - R1S pulling 138, the MY pulling 71. The Tesla drops below 100 kW at about 55%.
The Tesla is faster charging, but as I said earlier, the deeper you go, the faster the Riv catches up.
I had a Model Y, so not direct comparison, but I have Supercharged my '25 R1S DM a couple of times. As said above, bigger battery, so takes longer, And while it doesn't charge 250 like the MY, it holds a higher charge deeper into the pack. If you're a 5-50% and speed to next charger for another...
Same with me - also picked up 9/6. Soft reboot fixed it this morning. If it does it again, I'll report in app. Hope all who are having issue are reporting to make well known.
