You're not completely crazy - it's really inconsistent where I live. Sometimes it shows them, sometimes not. It's also inconsistent when it comes to labeling businesses on the center screen.
I'd be interested to know what they're logic is for showing that data vs. not
Has anyone seen any LED badges for Rivian that you can install to replace the compass badge on the fronk/hood?
There are several EVs from other brands that have that, most notable to me would be VW and Mercedes, and I've always thought it was pretty cool - especially at night.
Not really...
That's what I thought; however, there are a lot of roads around my house and work where it doesn't engage. I'll get a notification that states it isn't available for use.
I'd like to preface this by saying I'm clearly a Rivian fan and the following is more observational.
My buddy owns a Tesla model 3 & Y, and I've had the opportunity to ride in both numerous times and drive them prior to picking up my R1T. So naturally we've been comparing the two brands...
I picked up my R1T about a month ago and was told all 'accessory' type items are delivered based on inventory. In my case, they had the portable charge cable, but not the adapter or the crossbars.
Biggest thing I would suggest would be to buy a portable cable before delivery (extra cost, but...
Glad to see you like it! I pick up my R1T on Friday this week - it's almost the same configuration as yours. Definitely looking forward to getting my hands on it!
Same, I reserved a Tri-Max in July and I spoke with customer service this past weekend and was told the delivery window of October-November is still accurate.
My wife and I have a trip planned for Thanksgiving and asked if they could give me anything more specific other than the 60 day window...
That's pretty much the same configuration I made for our R1T Tri-Max, and I also ordered in June, but I haven't heard from Rivian just yet, outside the couple of texts I received after asking about the delivery timeline.
I was told, about 2 weeks ago now, that the window is still the same and...
Welcome to the forum!
I also have a Tri-Max on order (placed about 4 months ago at the end of June). I have the same delivery window, so just be when they expect to ramp up Tri motor custom builds.
I reached out to my Guide a couple of times, but I just keep getting the same canned response...
Poor navigation isn't a safety issue unless you're spending too much time watching the screen instead of the road... Which would make this more of a 'you problem'.
That's not really how software development works. Devs don't get to pick what they work on. Typically, there's an overarching SW Blocking schedule with priority-based capabilities/features that get planned and assigned. Once the Devs finish the work (which can take days to weeks depending on the...
I'll check once I'm home, but I basically found all the advertised stats, dimensions, cost, etc. data points, then did a comparison of each row to highlight the top two trucks in each area. #1 was assigned 2 points and #2 got 1 point (everyone else got zero). Then just add up the points.
That...
It was the truck, as I wanted to keep it apples to apples in my comparison. I've looked at and compared the following EV trucks: Ford Lightning, Chevy Silverado, Cybertruck, Hummer and Rivian. I also looked at the RAM (both the REV 1500 and Ramcharger), but I crossed that off after looking at...
I test drove the HEV and found the interior felt a bit cramped by comparison to the Rivian. Also, the HEV is only rated at around 1.5 miles per kWh, which is just awful. I think EV makers like Hummer and Chevy try to make up for lack of efficiency and quality by shoving a massive battery pack to...
You're probably close to the front of the line, as far as taking ownership of a Gen 2 R1T.
I'd suggest checking everything when you do go to pick up your R1T - This has been linked on a few different threads here, but hopefully it helps...
Still no change in status on my R1T Tri-Max. I just passed the 3 month mark since I submitted our order and paid the $3,000 deposit. I'm hoping I'll hear something in the next couple of weeks.
Yep, that's exactly our issue and why I need material cost to drop a bit before my Wife and I can decide to commit. We both do really want to go solar though... Once we get our R1T, charging for free will be great, and having additional power stored will be awesome. One day...
