Are you connected to Wi-Fi? The app doesn't notify until the update is downloaded and ready for install, and the first several waves prioritize those connected to Wi-Fi.
I connected my Gen 2 R1T to a hotspot while at work today to get the update installed. I've gotten into the habit of performing an infotainment reset followed by a vehicle reboot after updates. A few things I've noticed:
My God low speed driving is so creamy now. I want to start driving...
The 2025.10.30 update I installed today caused my powered tonneau cover to stop working as well. The tonneau reset procedure fixed it.
Still need to submit a ticket for it jamming occasionally after the first slat... 😅
Sounds like what it was for mine, the module wasn't properly assigned to the car. Mobile service was able to flash the module with the proper configuration and vehicle assignment.
My Audi did this. Unfortunately not where I live, but while traveling. It was such a tease and a great feature. Vegas, some areas of Phoenix, random cities here and there.
Is it supposed to? What's the point? To come back to the car with a yellow dot any time I've parked in public?
It would be more useful if it recorded impacts while the car was parked and notified about those.
That's the nature of tech. It's no different than smart phones or computer hardware. Best to just accept it unless you have the means to upgrade with every new revision. Be happy G1 are getting any new features. I can't say the same for my Audi.
I recall seeing enhancements made for live tire pressure information, but don't recall seeing this:
Tire Puncture Detection: Gen 1 and 2 vehicles will now proactively detect punctures and slow leaks on tires while in motion and notify you as you drive, increasing safety and helping you stay...
I need the Android "Check for updates" button so I can spam it and feel like I accomplished something when it finally says it's downloading the update.
Fashion Island already has multiple competitor showrooms and it's also a dying mall at this point ? There's a lot of vacancies there. It was a ghost town when I was there a couple weeks ago.
