No, thankfully haven't needed too as of yet. I get my R1S inspected at a place in Biddeford which is great and everything else has been Mobile Service.
I did hear a rumour of a Portland "area" Service Center in the planning phase for early 2026 though. I was trying to find public planning...
It's fine once you know it's there but whenever I am running some type of pick-up service errand, the poor person bringing stuff out never knows how to close the tailgate.. they are looking up at that door looking for a button that is invisible to them. I usually just tell them not to worry...
Second for Portland, ME! Or just expand the offerings at the third party collision centers. There is one in Saco, ME that does Rivian warranty work, but they were not part of the list for the recent Hub bolt tightening service campaign. These locations have to do official Rivian training and...
2025.06 installed last night and Alexa/Spotify is working this morning. No idea for how long of course but it did work first time without having to do an infotainment reset.
Does anyone have any pictures/videos of how they ran the USB cable from the screen down to the connector box in the foot well? I've watched the ElecTech Youtube video and given the trim gaps on the A pillar and roof that seems reasonably easy to do, but has anyone done anything different than...
@raylepper Kit was fantastic, did exactly what it says on the tin. All the components fit together nice and easily, some good tolerances on your print!
To anyone considering it, the hardest part of the install was the double sided tape on the tray lifter. It's such a simple little thing but I...
Same here, typically had to do a media reset after any update to fix it but after this one nothing is fixing it. Logged out of both Spotify and Alexa, multiple media resets, no luck.
It's not the end of the world or anything but man it sure is annoying for my kids since they love yelling out...
Don't do what I did and schedule your 7500 mile service close to 7500 miles... By the time my appointment arrived I was at 9000 miles! Also on AT's 5000 miles is preferred so I will be scheduling that rotation almost immediately given the scheduling lag.
Initially I was under the impression...
I've had mobile service come out twice up in Maine and it's been a great experience. I was worried about how unimportant and silly some of the service items were (badges falling off, weather seal strip coming off) but the tech was happy to schedule it since he was going to be up here anyway.
I...
My setup on an R1S using 60" Thule Evo Bars and dual Yakima Showdowns:
https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/dual-yakima-showdown-kayak-and-sup-mount-on-thule-evo-rack-on-r1s.29162/
Just a quick note for anyone looking at Kayak/SUP carriers, the Thule 150cm/60" Wingbar Evo bars will fit dual Yakima Showdowns. No clearance issues, plenty of space between carrier and vehicle.
Thule Part numbers from etrailor.com:
TH35WE
TH49SC

Also FWIW I can fit my car with the...
Glad to hear! I think between the Irving and the Superchargers in Bangor it is going to make those Northern trips much easier. I'm still waiting on my A2Z adapter but I'll be heading up that way as soon as I can to test the route up to Calais.
I doubt the Calais Supercharger will be on the V4...
I am going to answer my own comment with this recommendation: Neil's Motors Inc in Biddeford (https://neilsmotors.com/index.html). I had my inspection done there and they are a great shop, super friendly, knowledgeable about the Rivian and they had all the jack pucks and such already.
Curious what folk think of plugging into an L2 Charger for 8 hours or so whilst skiing. Typically I would assume the same etiquette as any other public charger, go move your car when you are done but I've noticed that nobody does. There are only 4 L2 chargers where I go and the parking lot fills...
I'm up in rural Maine and so driving anywhere near Boston is stressful at best. Driving my new R1S out of the Chelsea SC and trying to get used to the one pedal driving, navigation, narrow one-ways and onto i95 took several years off my life! Trial by fire though right. Just not looking forward...
