Slight creasing on the side of the drive seat, I tend to slide off instead of lifting my butt, but otherwise in really good order for nearly 62k miles.
Did you notice an ADAS difference before and after?
I assume they mean the trim is pulled and not resecured properly. I believe I'm having that same issue, with wind noise, I'll learn more tomorrow at my appointment. The tech who booked the correction said if it's just trim that needs...
And for those of us out of warranty period?
I honestly only want it for suspension and this stupid ass tailgate latch that's become a 90 day consumable part. Gen 1 large/quad got a killer 8 year/175k miles on battery and drivetrain.
I'm back to having a faulty tailgate latch. Once again, it's only the passenger side latch, and it showed signs of failure before completely going out. Since I'm out of warranty, I assume they'll charge me for any repair despite getting it serviced 4 different times for the same issue, so I'm...
I've been using mine since replacement by Safelite, no recalibration, and have noticed no difference in my normal commute 🤷🏼♂️
Even at their shop, they can still bugger it. It's been a busy week, so I haven't had a chance to bring it back in, but I'll be going by Monday to ask why it sounds...
Consider me another unhappy (for now) Safelite customer. The tech didn't seem confident in the job, told me to reach out directly if I have any issues. Immediately after leaving I had wind noise starting at like 30mph, sounded like a window was cracked or it wasn't sealed all the way. Faster...
Put a ticket in, sounds like your door seals were put on backwards, known issue. They're at the bottom of the doors and are long skinny pieces, research on the forum about it. I'm sure it's DIY but better to have pros do it in case they break. Ever since mine were fixed, it no longer sounds like...
I understand that. What I mean is if the Exoshield saves the windshield from a bad chip that would've led to cracking, and subsequent replacement, I don't lose the money spent on the interior layer.
We've been beating this dead horse for quite a while; yes, Fuyao glass is trash; yes, it's annoying to get it repaired or replaced every few months (for some). But as I prepare for my 3rd (4th? I'm losing track) windshield, I thought it would be helpful to get experienced insight into a few...
I'll be joining the 4 windshield club at 61k miles. No tailgating, most chips and cracks came from neighboring lanes and not dead ahead. My latest chip repair has failed in 70°F sun, Fuyao reared it's ugly face again. Real tough stuff!
Debating whether to get the tint back on it, lost it on...
