    You're right, if they can't pay for it they are not getting it at all. Both of my parents received cancer diagnoses this month, with no undue wait. Both being treated immediately. Try again.

    The GVWR exempts R1 vehicles from luxury tax. Lack of availability hurts their marketshare more than pricing does. There are still giant chunks of canada where rivian flat out won't sell you a vehicle.
