Yes! Count me in! Darren from the WI group mentioned this before, sounds like it's shaping up to be a proper ambush of Rivians ?(the Rivian spirit animal might be up for debate, but I like the balance of speed, agility and power of a tiger, hence the group name ambush??)
Speaking as an idiot who got stuck and scratched the sh!t out of his rims getting pulled out, I recommend not 1 but 4 Dodge ram wheels as a full spare set. That's my plan this off season ?
This is awesome. As a fellow new to off-roading rivian owner, I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing others use and enjoy these beasts as they were meant to. Glad you had a good time and didn't get stuck like I did ?. Also that compass yellow is noice. Have never seen one in the wild yet...
The truck isnt dressed up, but since i am, i hope this counts as spooky :) Thinking of waking early to greet my wife like this when she goes to leave for work...
BTW - I too have the Realwheels EV horn upg and wow, what a difference. When people are foolish enough to make me use it, its like a...
I talked to the guys at Allied, their shop is in Lake Barrington, its $170 per wheel for repair, they fully strip it down and re-powder coat it, and $32 for re-mounting and balancing the tire. I forgot to ask if they would re-create the lil yellow Rivian badge.
Hope that helps. Not just you, but...
Wow, bump post after just one day huh. You must be really embarrassed. j/k :)
Hey, at least you don't look like me after getting stuck off-roading. Check out my rear wheels below.
Anywho, im not just a smartass, heres a few ideas:
1. FB marketplace, i grabbed a spare tire and rim for $500. If...

Just came across this posting too late anyway but +1 for another IL flatlander who has interest in exploring my more geographically textured neighboring states :)
Keep posting, id love to join a meetup like this when available.
I have three dogs on an electric fence, and while thankfully none have had any issue with my R1T, you might be on to something. The whistle of the collars could certainly be mistaken for the Trucks Chirp.
I also concur with everything COdogman says about the training above. start easy, start far...
+1 here. I too appreciate your efforts, and I too use the gear tunnel for large items like watercraft paddles/oars, handle tools like axes, and the like. A thinner slide-out would be great
I tried posting this on the Rivian subreddit, as im to understand the software team skims for ideas there. But it was automatically flagged by Reddit and never posted, not sure why (brand Redditor here). Id love to try again to see if it can get any upvote traction if anyone can suggest some...
Thank you. Just got back from RV campground with same issue. Came here hoping someone knowledgeable had the answer, and sure enough...
I see one of the positive reviews on that product page is from an R1T owner, so order placed. Thnx!
Whelp. The park was beautiful. We made camp just before the rain came, then decided to head out once it cleared. so it pretty wet out there. It was cool seeing the dirt bikes flyin in the air and all. And the main trail - The Outer Loop- was great. Toughest part about it was on the...
