Depends on how often you need the bed. I'll probably need the full bed 2 to 3 times a year and it takes 5 minute to remove the whole thing. Thus, your comment seems misplaced or miscalculated. At 50% less than the OEM manual tonneau, this cover has been tested for years in thousands of applications.

Ordered one too. Spent some time reading on the finish and decided to go with Matt Black since it matches the OEM version best. The urethane finish has a glossier shine to it. Here is a video of what it looks like:
