Problem is, Rivian doesn't have the time for that. Even the R2 was introduced at a price that factored in the tax credit. How would Rivian all of a sudden cut their margins for a cheap R2 by $7,500? Can't.

If that were true in ALL cases, R1T prices should not have gone up, especially with intro of higher trims.

Just FYI, Tesla doesn’t make supercharger stations these days much with just fewer than a dozen chargers. That’s what Rivian does.
