Yes, and No.. , so I'll skip the vote.. I would not buy "my" Rivian if it were in the original condition on day one, it had way too many cosmetic/mechanical/functional issues and I would not want to go through it again. Had it not been for the early buyer discount, I would have been very...
I had same experience as you at the shop. Strangely, they could not place the order directly for me from their system, so I had to purchase it myself from TireRack and have it delivered to the store. Thereafter, they handled everything well. Call them to verify they received it before you go...
Ok, it seems it was a temporary server/backend issue and is working now for me. Was still sluggish and partially broken couple hrs earlier, but working well now.
Was just trying out the trip planner on the app, but it no longer works for me. I'm on v2.19.0 and v2024.51.01.
When I try to search, I get a "Sounds cool, but we can't find that.." message. Even dragging the map doesn't work, it just centers me in the middle of the atlantic ocean...
Coming up on 2 yrs end of the mo.. My issues started on day 1.. had combined total of around 12 SC+mobile visits, and in all ~50+ issues resolved, but it was worth the ride, as I'm very happy now and cherish driving my R1S every day and looking for opportunities to run errands. My biggest...
Any updates from efficiency you're getting from 275/65 M/S2s? After 450mi, I'm getting around 2.19 (average 50F recently, ~46 cold psi). What PSI are you guys at? I'm thinking to bump it up to 50 at cold.
Yes, unfortunately you do have a lot more damage to your lift gate and side panels and the quote may highly depend on the shop. Hopefully the other party insurance is able to cover.
Just got the 275/65 installed today. I had 21's originally and at ~2.5 mpK after 20k miles, then switched to 20" Pirelli AT (tires at end of life) for another 4k miles and getting ~2.38mpK. Nice and quiet now at medium speed, but unfortunately the wind noise at highway speeds is back and...
Sorry this happened. Just the bumper parts replacement and very minor touchup of the tailgate was around $5K for me. The tailgate/liftgate+lightbar and side panel work will add up unfortunately. Curious what your quotes come in as.
So that's where it went, I though it was removed. Many many releases ago it was conveniently placed on the left side grouped along with the other navigation controls.
Yes, one of the latches in my set always gives me trouble. There are two screws at the base you can adjust but its very finicky and after spending 15 mins trying to make it work I gave up.. I never remember to take it to the service center
Yeah, they won't sell like hotcakes, but since the R1T can store a full size spare, you might get interest. Lower the price over time if you're not seeing any offers., there will be takers eventually. I've sold couple already, down to the last one now.
Happy to report that this auto enabling of the hotspot has been working great!.. Spotify, Alexa, all working well like before Connect+ trial ended. Apple Music had stopped working, but the sign-out/reset did the trick and that works now too! Really cool that Rivian enabled us to use this...
Ha, never mind, I should have looked it up first.. from Google
"Yes, you can enable your Android device's hotspot to turn on automatically when it's connected to a car via Bluetooth using the Auto HotSpot Tethering app from Google Play. This app is easy to set up and doesn't require root...
Is there a way or feature on phone to automatically turn on Hotspot if a particular bluetooth device is connected (in this case the Rivian)? I prefer not to leave hotspot on all the time.
Does it support pass-through (charigng via AC at 1440W while discharging via AC outputs?)? The Rivian's 120V output fluctuates in voltage with current causing trouble with higher power appliances like my microwave. Would be nice to use this as a voltage regulator.
