Thanks to both of you! I'll take a look and see wha they can do for me. I'm sure I'll get more dings but just want to take of a couple that I can't stop staring at when I get to the door.
Hello, does anyone know or recommend a good painless dent repair person/shop near the Seattle WA area?
I have a couple door dings that people were so nice to leave me without a note or anything. I'm sure I will get more. They are all on the door, well a tiny one on the gear tunnel too. So I'm...
Is anyone getting winter tires for their R1? Lots of mixed reports of how well the AT and AS handle. I'm trying to see what others are doing this winter.
I wanted to share, I did call Rivian service and told me that they usually make special appointment to install new wheels so I wouldn't have to wait too long, but they would I would have to put the order in to see what the schedule looks like. They also said the mobile service could also do it...
I have the 21" wheels and they did fine on the bit of snow we got so far in the area. I do plan to make some trips to the ski resorts in the area this year and been reading so far about winter tires and choices. I'm really debating on getting a set of 20" but with how backed up Bellevue SC is...
This is from the R1T manual:
So if you have the 20" because of the clearance, don't use cables/chains. I have the 21" so I probably will get the cables for rear. I never tried the socks before but that might be a better way to reduce the risk of damage if they fall off.
Picked up my R1T last week, Rivian Blue / Black Mountain on 21's. SC said I was probably one of the last groups that will have the powered tonneau cover which I was curious if I would have it (working for now). I'm on the east side of Seattle about 10 min from the SC.
