There are laws/rules that Rivian has to abide by. So IMHO, customization (if allowed) would most likely be limited by those laws/rules. It would be great to allow things while parked, but while driving would be a whole different story.

But they could have used a van to move a set of them from the fab area to the storage area on the other side of the factory. Highly inefficient, but don't they need to test those vans somehow?

Doubt there is a double standard. Just pre-production models going thru more testing.

Nope, that is a 'light' Green. So, Forest Green. My guess is that Launch Green will be darker.

Imagine. Robber slides under the Rivian and sees nothing but a smooth bottom. Goes WTH. Then goes back to his buddies. Who don't believe him and then also slide under. All get caught on RAC (Rivian Adventure Cam).

Sensors and software are great, but have a super hard time predicting the human and what they will do. :)

I noticed that the guy is not 'long in the legs' and got into the bed basically the way I did it on my RAM 2500. He struggled a bit, but with practice it is real easy to do.

I think they are two different vehicles. The one in the video has the front black fender. The one in the image, does not. There is also the difference in that the windows are not wrapped in one, but are in the other.

Not sure about a longer bed. The wheel base looks shorter. If there was a longer bed, I would not expect the wheels to be that close together. Maybe the overseas model?

This has come up before based on an earlier picture. The hope is that there is a setting that allows you to decide to show it or not.

To me the best part is that they make him wash it before returning it. :)

Ok. Saw the video and the first thing I noticed. Why did they park like a-holes and sort of block the other spot!?!?! If it was a ICE vehicle we would be pissed because they are blocking a spot they really don't use. How should we feel when it is a BEV vehicle? ;)

Could also be a matter of speed. Most likely someone got out to spot or run the camera. So, they popped out. Since they really don't get up to speed, they don't pop in and/or auto-lock the doors.
