Great to know. My Land Rover had an electronic stabilzation system that discouraged Stabilizer hitches (it did every thing, and was a super cool system). I wasn't sure if the Rivian had the same ability. I have yet to tow, but when my R1S is out of the shop for the 4th time since I bought it in...
Many of Gen2 including mine are horrifically misaligned. I have had mine in 2x for them to fix the issue. Holding your steering wheel 3/4" off set to the left to drive straight is crazy. Last fix attempt they remedied it to about 90% improvement. I think something is off in their process or...
After I do some towing here in the next few months i'll tell you. Having had an EV for 3 years I was ready for some issues. So my patience repository has been quite full.
My experience with the R1S Dual Max Gen2 has been VERY rough. Many issues right out of the gate. It literally broke on the...
R1S Gen2 Dual Max. 2300 miles.
I just got a Power Steering Error. Is this something created from the latest software update?
Anyone else with this fault have suggestions?
I didn't notice anything horrific with vibration or stiffness.
Should I execute a hard reset? I'm kind of in the...
Just curious if someone knows if I can push this back into place properly without having to wait 6 weeks for a RIVIAN mobile appointment ?
I see there are TWO magnets on the right and left back of the headliner
Neither will stay attached (they are too weak)
The headliner seems contorted/warped...
I used mine when this happened LOL with a shop light and another High Power hand held. After the car started to cool off again one of them came back on. But they would keep failing.
As they figured it out over the course of 3.5 weeks (from December 4th) they said a batch of chips failed cold...
Its when they start to heat up from the cold. My whole light array failed in the middle of nowhere. I used a body shop light and a high powered flashlight to finish the last few miles of my middle of nowhere trek to home in sub zero temperatures. 0 / 10 would not recommend.
The issue with the steering not aligning straight when pulling out is probably a product of 'Drive By Wire' and the fact there is zero physical connection. My issue is if I hold the steering wheel straight the car slowly starts drifting to the right. I can also watch ADAS bouncing the wheel...
They didn't fix mine the first time I complained and it was in the service shop. I hate having to hold the steering wheel to the left like 3/4" to drive straight.
No. Its smaller than nearly all 7 seaters. Its exactly 6" longer than my Land Rover LR4. The R1S feels bigger than it is. I believe it is becuase the hood looks and feels like a Toyota Tundra Full size truck hood. My LR4 hood makes the front end feel much smaller and has 200% better visibility...
