If I recall correctly, Rivian is on a quarterly RSU vesting schedule. So each quarter when RSUs are vested, a portion is automatically sold off to cover taxes. This is all an automated process.
If the truck detects the charge port getting too hot too quickly, it will reduce the charging power to protect itself. This can happen when the cooling system on the charging cable isn't performing well or there is contamination in the charging pins. I'll add that I'd the truck didn't protect...

Keep in mind RJ started the RAN program at the end of 2019. At the time, unless you had a Tesla, the only option was EA. He understood there had to be reliable charging in order to sell EVs and the Tesla network wasn't open at the...
Not surprising given all the recent headwinds. Last quarter, Rivian had a net income of -$744 million, so they are negative about $8.2 million a day.
Now the new administration comes in with an anti-ev stance and tried to kill NEVI funding which Rivian has been awarded for a number of their...
As an outside observer, I would say, look at what Rivian is communicating as its priorities to Wall Street. Consider that many engineering resources can be shuffled around within the company in order to hit targets on the priorities.

In my Polestar2, it shows the percentage of energy consumed by HVAC. I've never seen more than 10%, but I also live in SoCal. The easiest thing to do to extend range is drive slower as aero drag increases to the square of speed. Any cyclist knows this first-hand.
All vehicles of the last 20 years use brakes for traction and stability control. I had a buddy burn through his rear brake pads in 2k miles on his Porsche.
Looks like almost 250 new NEVI funded sites came online in the last week and a half of the year. Just under 300 total across the nation are now online.
Utah definitely needs to request more funding. Texas has about 3x the amount of corridor miles compared to Utah, but got 12x the funding. So...
My guess is the rollout will be steady but slow. Rivian has a single priority and that's getting to profitability ASAP. Adding any new charging sites actually goes against that goal because of the timely for return on investment for a charging site. We should be thankful for any new RAN sites.
