Do you guys make a regular tent as well? Or just a roof top tent? I am interested in purchasing yours, because of how easy it is to set up and break down. But we are a family of 5, so we would need something bigger that could accommodate us. Do you have anything that big?
After installing the latest software update,
Our R1S has been acting up a lot. It'll randomly turn the vehicle on while it's parked in our garage, when we haven't used it in hours (only know this because walking in the garage, I can see the interior screen lights on). No doors are open, or...
YES! Our R1S just started making that noise as well. I wonder if it has anything to do with the update. Because it never did that before. It's very strange.
I know on the gear store, Rivian offers a 3 person tent for the R1S. Has anyone bought that and used it on the R1T? Would it fit in the bed? I saw Rivian offer a 3rd party tent for the T, but it's only a 1-2 person tent. Or if anyone has any recommendations for a 3 person tent for the T, that...
Not saying it would be permanent, but a limited time offer to those who can upgrade now, give them a window of like 30 days, at a lower price. Otherwise, price goes back to 5k after that 30 day window.
They could absolutely do it for a limited time or end of quarter. They have done plenty of other deals like PPF/Sealth Matte for free, etc... this can also be done.
I understand that aspect. But Rivian changed their prices and a lot of people got a steal at 75k price point too. If Rivian wants to make profit, they should lower the price to entice people to upgrade.
Dang 5k for the upgrade.. Not much incentive for people to do it, since they could have done that from the get-go. I really thought it would have been cheaper, maybe even for a limited time offer, make it like 3k for a month or so, so it'll make people purchase it because it would be a good...
I think the sweet spot would be $2500 or $3000 to entice people to purchase it. Perhaps towards the end of a quarter push, they might make a sweet deal that would be hard to pass up.
As for people who bought the 5k upgrade, would they be upset.. sure..
but I missed the 75k pre-order deadline...
It's official. The Rocklin Service Center is showing up on the service center map on Rivians page as "coming soon". It doesn't say the actual address, but it looks to be very close to the other dealerships.
The only thing we know is that the ability to configure your wheels will be on this upcoming software update.
I'm still waiting for texting and side cameras to angle down while reversing..
It's kind of crazy charging for an hour and paying ICE vehicle prices. They really need to lower the price of electricity. And I know 95% of charging is done at home, but if you have PGE it's also very expensive to charge at home (at least in California).
