I've done a soft reset (to fix a camera issue the other day), and nothing changed. I'll try a hard reset to see if it helps.

Must be a Pixel problem - not seeing it on either our Samsung or Motorola Android devices.

Sounds like you need better insurance. Loss of Use, rental car coverage, is part of your policy not Rivian or the shop's problem.
