Check your cars settings. I was using my phone for like a year no issues till I added “home” location in navigation. For some odd reason lock at home was disabled by default.
I’ve done similar wiring on my R1S, it’s not that complicated, Rivian has generous gaps on roof paneling to tuck wires into. (Also between windshield and A pillar.)
Also, there wasn’t much light leakage into the cabin, and when I have amber caps on, it’s not noticeable at all.
Hope this helps.
I wasn’t talking about setting volume to listen to the music per se.
Sometimes I want something in the background while waiting for someone for example. And volume level 1 is too loud for that.
idk, maybe my hearing is too good lol
I noticed that too. Had my truck for almost 2 years now it always had this “issue” there is no way to set volume to low level no matter which setting you pick or what source is playing.
I just call it one of the quirks of owning Rivian, and move on.

This looks like a great idea with the solar panels, unfortunately won’t be as effective for those who have tints.
If let’s say tints block 50% light would that still be enough juice to maintain 12v battery?
I enjoyed the show, not sure which direction they gonna take it though.
As for Rivian, didn’t think it could pull off the sinister look.
Definitely good camera work as well.
