Iâve consistently seen a discrepancy between how much energy my ChargePoint app says is going into the truck compared with what the Rivian app says. Last night the Rivian app says 82.3 kWh and the ChargePoint app says 85.9. Not a huge deal but am curious about why there would be a discrepancy.
IF you are planning on keeping a car til the wheels fall off, then yes, youll prob end up slightly ahead. Otherwise, if you know what youre doing, you can find great lease deals that donât break the bank on amazing cars. Until my R1T, I had been leasing since 2014. I didnât pay for one service...
I donât get it. Why not make sure the truck is actually ready and take it for a meaningful test drive. Itâll save everyoneâs time and it will save them some embarrassment. Theyâve done this to me twice and both times I had to keep the truck there so theyâd actually fix the problem.
Is it not fully closing and then opening at the last second? This happened to me after a service visit due to techs not putting panels back correctly. Mobile service fixed it 30 seconds. They just pressed down on one of the panels. Wish I wouldâve taken a video or pic.
The problem is they donât always get things right the first time or hope the customer doesnât notice. When I bright the truck in for my last service some weird noises(confirmed by a tech during a test drive) they called me three days later and said it was ready. I was skeptical but gave them...
I was backing out of the garage and was able to use the scroller on the right side of the steering wheel to change from garage to the tilted mirrors and return them to their original position.
I would escalate this with service. Tell them you donât feel safe driving the car. I wouldnât feel comfortable driving a car that was unable to Leo use any safety warnings/sounds.
UmmmmmâŠ.
Am I mistaken or did you schedule a service appt to download the update? Is this your first update? Itâs been only two days. Give it some time. Some people wait up to a week or more to receive the update. They send them out in batches so just be patient. Some people prefer being later...
Thai happened to me too. Had subframe replaced and started having wobbling. Had tires rebalanced and was good for a few weeks, but it then came back. Currently at Service center getting front drive unit replaced. Weâll see if that makes a difference.
Iâm in shock that 50% said 0-10 days. Picked up my truck in December 2022 and itâs been in service 60 days without counting the current stint to replace the front drive unjt(10+days and counting). Also had major HVAC issues, suspension parts replaced, and the subframe replaced. Maybe I got an...
I remember when he first got his Rivian, he had very few followers. He was able to get early access to the R1T and the following reviews got him a lot more subscribers. He benefited a lot by being able to jump the line. I used to watch his videos, but they are way too long. They are also geared...
