Stupid. I thought the idea was to make the deficit better? Why throw away what you already have. Start charging the public for their charging and the cost would be recouped, eventually generating cash for the government.
If Trump doesn't want to buy EV's then fine, but it makes no sense to...
It's crazy. Going to check out the Tesla Barstow site on the way back from Vegas on Monday in lieu of my normal stop at the Barstow RAN! Rivian didn't execute this increase thoughtfully.
Just stopped at Barstow - it's $0.64 per kwh now. $50 charge - crazy. Tesla non-member price is $0.60 at Barstow. They went overboard with this increase if you ask me. Rivian owner pricing should be lower than Tesla non-member pricing at the same location.
As much as I hate to support...
SC proactively added the 12v battery replacement at my last service appointment with them (31,000 miles). They even had it in and out the same day - big improvement from last fall when it took them one week.
I just got mine last month off of Tire Rack. They had them to my local discount tire in San Diego the next day - no shipping charge.
Already put 5k miles on them out and back to NC and love them! Much better ride and cheaper than the stock pirellis.
I also am very happy with the design of the SiriusXM app. It's very intuitive, runs smoothly (switching channels is practically instant) and much better designed than any xm interface from any other vehicle I've had. Nice to have my favorite xm stations back in my vehicle.
I ignore all of the Pilot ones because of the ridiculous pricing I got at the first one I visited in Knoxville. Not a great way to attract customers - charging 50-100% more than the nearby competition.
it's only a matter of time before these 2 have a falling out with Trump (as with practically all of his former WH advisers). Can't wait to watch this triangle implode.
It seems you generally either get a solid well made one, or get one that has problems almost from day 1. I haven't seen many reports of major problems developing after 5 to 10k miles other than the dreaded 12v battery failure (seems that can strike at any time). I think that may contribute to...
Discount Tire in San Diego didnāt even show up for me. Thereās an option to enter the address manually, so thatās what I did. Tires were there the next day, I called them and theyāre storing them for installation next week for me.
Maybe give them a call to confirm that message is erroneous...
They serve as a spot for any smaller item that you don't want floating around in a cavernous center console.
Honestly they should have just had a glovebox from day 1 and never had the cubbies - which they've recognized and are including in the R2. Love my Rivian, but some of the design and...
I prefer being able to just hand them two pieces of paper, rather than fumble through multiple apps to show my DL, registration and insurance. It's also fail-safe if I don't have my phone on me or the battery is dead (same reason I usually carry my fob).
Also I think most states take digital...
Honestly, I'd just take a traditional sunroof setup (one that opens) over the glass roof if it means I can get a glovebox and 12v under the dash. I have so much anxiety over that thing breaking some day. But the glass roof itself is a cost saving feature as well, I get it - at least it's cost...
It's one thing to cut costs - but these are just annoying cuts. Where do they expect people to store documents - these cubbies were already undersized to begin with. I'd never find my registration again if I stored it in the center console black hole.
It's in the same category as the early...
I respect his opinion, but his channel has taken a smug, authoritative tone as it has grown. I really used to like it, as he generally maintained a positive spin regardless of what he was reviewing. He's been very negative regarding the Rivian charging curve, as has some of his staff...
