I have recently noticed (since the .51 update) that every time I get into my vehicle, the audio volume has set itself to 20, no matter where I had it at when I exited the vehicle.
Anybody else noticing something similar?
It may be coincidental, but Iāve noticed a fairly substantial improvement in the reliability of PaaK since the .51 release.
I used to (almost without fail) have to make sure my phone was out of my pocket and unlocked for it to work correctly. This doesnāt appear to be the case as often (still...
If I had to guess it has to do with the quality of the cameras and sensors. They must have some reason to believe that the functionality will be more accurate in Gen 2 than in Gen 1.
The South Carolina law allows manufacturers to perform warranty work without restriction so I wonder if the location is going to be limited to warranty work.
Yeah, I was surprised just how particularly finicky the LFP seems to be. But that info is directly from the Regional Service Ops Director for the east coast
From what Iāve learned that battery pack temp is the limiting factor here. For ideal speeds, the vehicle expects the battery pack to be 35Ā°C (95Ā°F). Iāve been told youād need to ensure the pre-conditioning is done well in advance of arriving at a DCFC (like 30 minutes) to ensure the battery is...
I havenāt needed to go to a DCFC in a bit, but given those outside temps, Iād be interested to know what your battery pack temp was. To paraphrase others and what Iāve heard directly from Service Operations leaders at Rivian (Iāve had the chance to talk to a couple recently), the LFP packs are...
I agree it probably doesnāt cost them very much but you can definitely āfill it upā without the need for an NACS adapter. Is it a nice-to-have? Absolutely. But a must have? No.

Later this month, Rivian will stop allocating a free NACS adaptor with a Rivian purchase.
THIS DOES NOT IMPACT ALREADY PURCHASED VINS! Current owners will still receive their adaptor by the end...
I like this concept. Make some SCs that are like the outposts at National Parks.
but that might not be cost effective for vehicle delivery or part delivery.
@SeaGeo and @CANCERDOC - thank you for sharing this info. Seriously!
Iāll keep testing it out and see if I get any better results. maybe the curve is a little sharper than I expected.
