Mine had the same calibration issue, was fixed and the clutch engagement was more noticeable. The firmware update must have done the same for everyone else.

Someone did drag strip runs measuring acceleration in normal and sport. After 45mph the curves were identical. The half second quicker is all in 0-45mph.

I put a bunch of glue on mine to stiffen the clips up and put them back. Right now wheels are my limiting factor off-road. Eventually I'll probably fabricate some rocker protection.
