Add me in the 1Up roof rack camp. I'm completely satisfied. Quality product and a reasonable price. The only downside is the bike is pretty high and I can't pull into my garage with it on the truck... But all things considered, this is the best way to carry bikes with a R1T, imo.
That is basically my plan for when we replace my wife's ICE vehicle with an EV. I'm going to use an oscillating multi-tool to cut the side trim about 1" higher so I can tuck the charging cord under the trim and the door will still close.
Does your driver instrument panel show "A" next to the current ride height?
When mine is in Auto, I see the "A" and it does switch between Standard and Low, based on speed. Sometimes it takes a minute or two to adjust down -- I think it wants to ensure you're going to maintain that speed...
That must be amortized over many stations and many locations, which are all cherry-picked for efficient installation cost.
Several other sources indicate costs are much higher for non-Tesla Supercharger installations.
EVGo, for example, says a 350kW DCFC costs $128k-150k for the equipment...
L2 stations are just glorified outlets, but those tend to be incredibly reliable and affordable, already. It’s the DCFC stations that have reliability issues — but they are much more than a “glorified” outlet. They have expensive circuitry and massive power requirements. Those stations easily...
It put my mind at ease, a little. Although I'm getting nervous, again, as they seem unable to handle the service load of their deliveries, thus far, and their plans to ramp production are obvious but their plans to ramp service are not.
Yea, I do it as soon as I get home. But the last update came while I was at work, and I drove to lunch, then ran some errands after work, then went out to dinner... Didn't want to update until I was back in my garage and knew I didn't need to go anywhere for a couple hours.
It's direct control. It isn't "filtering" or "dumbing-down" the process.
ICE vehicles don't have regen, so of course when you lift off the throttle you don't get significant braking, right away (just a little from engine compression braking).
Add it to your configuration and wait for them to build your truck.
Or are you seriously pulling the toddler card of demanding it RIGHT MEOW??
I got a spare from the Shop. If you have access, keep checking, and buy when a config pops up that you're okay with.
If YOU don't buy a spare, then sure. You could call roadside assistance.
If YOU don't buy lunch, you don't eat.
If YOU don't brush your teeth, your breath will stink.
What is ridiculous about this? It's simple.
If I buy a Silver R1T it isn't Black. How ridiculous! LOL
