Well, that's the rub here. Ford increased the price of the XLT with the Extended range batter above $80K. None of their 300+ range trucks will qualify for the tax credit. Buyers would have to settle for the 240mile truck.
I’m at $80125. If I have to, I’ll remove the all weather floormats and be under $80K. Fortunately I’m just under the joint filing AGI limit.
I’m also crossing my fingers that the feeds will waive the battery content requirement for a few years.
