For anyone deeply invested in my windshield woes, the main service center called me. I was told that the part is supposed to be in this week, but soonest I can get in to the Bellevue Service Center to actually have it replaced is September 6th.
The woman on the phone was very apologetic, and...
Yeah, like I’m pretty sure a slightly thicker/stronger windshield isn’t going to have any noticeable impact on any other function of the vehicle.
I’m not asking for a windshield that can take an AP round, I just want something that doesn’t break when you look at it funny
So, maybe I've just had an atrocious run of luck, but since taking delivery in March, I've had more rocks hit my windshield than any other car I've owned
And that wouldn't be an issue, except for the fact that the R1T's windshield seems to be fragile beyond belief. Every single little pebble...
Oh that’s so weird. Mine doesn’t do anything like that. The only thing I’ve noticed is that on some of my longer plays list (like 100+ songs) it’ll cut off the last 50 or so
That could be some of it! I was more looking at the part where it said that "...reducing the frequency of suspension adjustments when the vehicle is at a stand still (4x reduction)"
I’m just happy they’re tackling the auto-levelling issue head on rather than just the previously mentioned “incremental improvements with each OTA”
As I’m heading up to Canada soon, I was searching for a way to change the speedometer to kmh/kph, and discovered that you can’t.
So, new request for the next OTA, let us switch the truck over to metric! Or at least have it do it automatically when we cross the border
I had never noticed that issue tbh. But as of this morning (I got the update yesterday) the vent was closed when I got in the truck, but opened up immediately as soon as I put my foot on the brake to “wake up” the truck
