Def sorry @TdsT : definitely miserable, but glad no injuries. As many have said - the tires are where its at. While none of us were there (same road, same conditions) with snow tires, I can only speak from experience here: night and day diff from all seasons to snows. Your situation and this...
@Joefly78 - sounds like bad timing. I can't remember being prompted for this by the app, but it must've happened? Definitely frustrating - I generally feel that way about app updates: many, many times I go to do something (like turn music down in my house) and the app won't do anything until...
Anyone else drive your vehicle? I sent mine through a full service car wash the other day... where they drive your vehicle through the wash. Driver started pushing buttons on the dash and changed all the settings.
Sorry the the original poster - hopefully vehicle is at home? I do think this points to a bigger issue of being able to check the 12v batt from time to time to catch it before it fails. Seems to me from reading the boards that by the time the car alerts (if at all) the 12v is almost done.
I...
Sorry: such a pain.
We do a combo of glue traps & snap traps - have had rodents chewing wires & nesting in the Range Rover, Porsche, Mercedes and they even packed my ATVs airbox completely full of nuts, after chewing the wiring harness up under the dash.
Keeping them from entering the garage...
Great job on videos - Iād recommend using a 90deg angled usb-c adapter to keep the cord from sticking straight out.
There are two types of connectors Iām aware of - one is 90 deg down and one is 90deg to the side - I think the sideways 90 is best as it sort of routes the cord around the...
Ok, so pretty strange - 1/4garage door openers stopped working. It opens fine via other cars and this car opens the others fine too.
I can obviously re-setup the door, but has anyone ever seen this? I searched the archives and didnāt come up with anything
Thanks, @carsly I'd say it operates about exactly as I expected and I'm happy to have it. Knocks down the direct sunlight a bit - enough so that I think I won't install a ceiling shade
Think itās the same for R1T, but the **slight** bump in battery size - along with the other changes was what pushed us over the edge to swap Gen 1 to Gen 2 in the R1S
As miserable as these issues are, this is not a Rivian only issue (if just infotainment hiccups). I had black screens one morning - everything āranā fine though.
Iāve had exact same issue with our Range Rover - frustrating, but never affected driving.
I have tried it a few times, but Iām curious the use case.
It reminds me of when I used to drive quite fast: monitoring the road and radar detector to avoid tickets added much more stress than just setting the cruise at a reasonable speed.
In my view right now, it needs so much over Watch, it...
Yes: you can set batt display to show %, mi or both on the dash.
One thing that Iāve found helpful is using ABRP - you can adjust load settings; it can use current weather and live settings from your vehicle.
I canāt wait to see the whole ABRP baked into the nav (hopefully)!
