Costco parking lots, similar to Walmart are often full and crowded. Taking existing spaces to move to charging will probably annoy ICE drivers. Iād like to see these charges have a more dedicated area similar to the gas stations onsite so feels like a more established commitment and path to...
Emme Hall raced Rivianās for 2 years for Rebelle Rally. She isnāt an EV troll. She lives them. Video speaks for itself though. She wasnāt trying to make dual motor look bad.
Emme Hall is a pro and has great experience with Rivian but I was surprised she didnāt air down. Seems that would have helped with traction in both climbing difficulty examples. I wonder if Rivian will consider adding lockers. At least in the dual motors.
This is fine. I have used mine only twice since receiving last May. Because of the charge port location I donāt enjoy using NACS. I also never use my portable charger that came with the Rivian. Makes sense that both of these could be purchased separately.
I wonāt complain about wasting money on ads. But since you canāt buy either of these vehicles for well over a year I wonder why they arenāt promoting their amazing current vehicles this holiday.
Todayās stock move was political chatter.
Trump won presidential race, Elon backed Trump. Tesla stock is up 14%. Rivian as an EV company and perceived Tesla competitor is down 9%
In general Rivian has an amazing product that is in demand. Nothing really touches the R1S, GM, Ford arenāt...
Just moving the first segment to the end seems to be intent.
A new American truck and SUV will debut, proudly bearing the Scout badge across their grills, for the first time in 44 years.
It seems the statement is clear and I see no Rivian shade going on. Itās the first SUV truck bearing the Scout name page since 1980 when scouts stopped being built. (44 years ago) maybe not best worded but I donāt see how this any anything dishonest or slamming Rivian. BTW plenty of other...
conserve runs great. The problem is it eats up the front tires much faster. Iāve had an R1T since Sept 2021. I use to do all road trips with conserve mode trying to get highest range. I didnāt rotate my tires often enough. Ended up replacing them after just 1 year at 20k miles. 20ā ATs.
Since...
Long time Rivian driver
I donāt feel the seats are too hard. Perhaps mine are broken in
about 30k Miles on this Rivian
I like the roof glass but in summer I install a shade that I will remove in winter.
Size is based on needs of course. I have R1T and find the truck extremely useful. If...
I have been waiting to buy the Rivian power tonneau cover. But because of delays needed something more immediate. I considered one of the manual options but the price seemed high especially since I still plan to buy the powered option.
So I decided to just do DIY for the time being. I donāt...
Well thanks. Now I donāt have to excitement. :). My left strap is loose not doing much my right side is tensioned. I didnāt think to ask service to shorten one. Sounds like I should keep them on though.
These back tailgate straps appear to not really support the tailgate. The hinges appear to do all the work.
I am considering removing 1 or both for tailgating camping reasons. Anyone else removed these perhaps for a short duration. They appear to just be there as a backup. Belt and suspenders...
Same thing for me. Soft reset and 2 hard resets only worked momentarily. Certainly wide spread and perhaps related to their soon to be released paid service.
Fair, but this only upgraded the motor. We could say max pack is also a refresh or upgrade from launch addition, but virtually all other systems and components in R1 have not been touched at least in a meaningful way from the beginning. Other OEMs had more time to leap-frog the R1T but in many...
Interesting that Rivian is the oldest vehicle on the list from a release stand point. Wonder how things will stack up when Rivian is able to do a refresh of the R1.
I thought a small R2T that was the size of a Hyundai Santa Cruz would be popular. I donāt think thank size would eat into R1T sales. Just helpful to have a small bed for cargo sometimes rather than enclosed. Especially cool if they offered a popout roof hatch option. I know they have...
