Yes, I don't really see how they move Tri's after the Quad releases unless the delta between pricing is much larger than what has been said/expected on here and from MT's musings. If I have 110k to spend on an insane EV truck, I probably have 125k to make it the best available. As has been said...
Where is this? I canāt get anything that inexpensive to come up for me with a national search on auto tempest. Iām looking for a used R1S to trade our Tesla in for.
Haha, yeah it's a bit tricky - I did see someone on here post a cool holster for the compressor hose that goes in the bed, kind of like a garden hose wheel, which sounds pretty handy if you use it regularly. I used mine for our snow tubes yesterday! Ha.
Manual preconditioning is not available right now, but many of us have asked for it given the challenges with charging locations in navigation and cold weather in general. Hoping for it in an upcoming update!
Two days in a row here in Maine, overnight temps around -12F, have left unplugged truck outside (it's always outside), without charging it, turned heat on maybe 15min before leaving, no problems driving 30mi+ round trip first thing in the morning when temp is still around -5F. Gen2 R1T Dual...
Yeah, Iāve been contemplating trading in our Model Y for an R1S to go with our T, and sales reached out to me today with this offer.
But Iām still pretty torn since I can get a pre-owned Quad in Virginia for $10k+ less even with this discount.
Was -5F this morning here in Maine, and was still hovering around 2 in my Gen2 R1T Dual driving local highway at 55 for about 25 miles. Battery around 34F.
Great! Chelsea is slightly closer to me, but as folks have mentioned itās pretty urban industrial without much actual space and getting there isnāt fun at all. I hope this provides quicker turnaround and a better experience for all of us New England folks that have been relying on one SC! Sorry...
Agree, and yes sorry- was responding to original question but using your rhetorical for context.
Iām all for submitting tickets for this same reason. I never call unless they call me first to discuss the service request. Chat in app seems to be faster to get appointments scheduled in my...
Did you not text with your SC when you initially took delivery? I use that number and can still get directly to my SC if I have a question that isnāt directly related to a service appointment. As Iām 4 hours away, maybe that would work for you since others are saying theyāre generally amenable...
Same here, but I think itās mentioned in the notes for the new update, at least related to cold weather charging issues- since this is the first really cold month Gen2ās have collectively been through for data to populate.
Loan agreements are typically quite a bit more difficult to get out of than other non-dilutive funding sources at federal agencies. Beyond your typical default, liquidation, etc major issues that would be in any standard lending agreement.
Welcome! I can answer the first question from my perspective. Yes. The driving experience and quality of the truck are top-notch in my opinion. I bought my Gen2 R1T Dual Standard in September, and already have about 5000 miles on it. I love it, and am strongly considering trading in our Tesla...
If anyone is interested, I got confirmation from the sales team that VA and FL (only east coast used right now), will allow me to buy and come pick up used, and then register here in Maine after getting temp tags there. Which is great, and lets me know my options as they don't seem to have any...
