sensitivity, and they can tune the dynamic sound adjustment to be betterā¦ I often have to adjust volume when I get on/off highway. Or just stopping at light vs cruising.
I hope so I face this all the time reversing out of my garage!
also things Iām super excited about:
Driver Assistance Improvements (I unfortunately had been plagued by these. Glad to see it fixed!)
Fixed a rare issue that prevented Adaptive High Beams from working due to a false failure...

Fixed a rare issue that prevented Adaptive High Beams from working due to a false failure.
Fixed a rare issue that resulted in the unavailability of driver assistance features after a vehicle wake and required a vehicle reset to recover.
Itās a little baffling to me in this day and age of cheap ram that they are struggling with a smooth UI. And potentially offloading apps and such
back to topic of the thread, how to see release notes soon!!
Def call them to see if they can make it right. Iād be surprised if they donāt get you in touch with the SC you were at so they can explain to you what was done.
Unfortunate that your chat experience has been subpar. But calls with rivian support has been great for me. They should be open 24/7...
Iām curious for all the Gen1 > Gen2rs
what are your observations on the highway assist and drive display visualizations?
I had a Gen1 loaner for a couple days and felt that highway assist and driver display shows and detected lanes better in the Gen1 over my Gen2?
The Gen1 would more...
I hope this is just a software bug with 2024.47. I got the adaptive headlights unavailable again today. But followed the trick of just toggling the setting in the settings menu. That did reenable it and it worked on backroads later in the drive.
I did have to do the ātrickā 2-3 times during...
I had done infotainment reset, followed by hazard lights reset, and that seems to have curbed my issue (for now).
I have no idea how/why SSD connected to USB would impact the highway assist and adaptive high beams, unless the drive cam recorder writing to the SSD is lowing down the processing...
So I discovered this is happening for me on AP mode, standard ride height on my Gen2 TriMax R1S.
sound coming from front wheels/CV joint.
It is gone when accelerating in ālowā ride height.
Curious if any other TriMax hearing the same? Based on this thread thought, Iāll assume it is ānormalā.
I kept getting same message every time headlights turned on, on my last drive. about 4-5 times. I had just done hard reset yesterday for driver assistance related issues. Put in a service request, as thatās what the message suggests doing, so weāll see how quickly they can fix itā¦
I had to do hard reset today, because driver assistance was stuck in ānot supported on this roadā even though it was areas Iāve driven before with it on.
turns out that seems to have done two things that people were talking about that I didnāt notice from 2024.47 update, until now:
1) the...
the customer service attitude, and how they make up for their mistakes definitely sets Rivian apart from other car companies. I hope they can scale that out in years to come with R2 launch, and potentially 10x more customers that might bring.
congrats on the new R1T!
Ya the Dobly Atmos typically makes the audio sound worst in my experience.
Except for September and Rocket Man š they mixed those very well for DA.
also apparently Rivian cannot figure out how to do āsound checkā so that DA plays at same volume as non-DA songs.
