Just received a new android update through play store - maybe they fixed the issue with certain devices not working? I haven't had this issue and use a newer samsung z flip device.

Does the free SiriusXM trial, YouTube and casting capability end with the next release for those that dont have C+?

Just checked and the Android version is also out - This is the 2nd time that I can recall where the iOS and android updates come out at the exact same time....

I hope RJ sees this thread....If I am in his shoes and I am business minded I would find a way to capitalize on this and maximize revenue. Make it part of c+? Make it an additional $10/month? Choice is great for their brand and the additional revenue is definitely something they could use...

I had the black screen issue all day....finally did a soft reset and tada started to work. I got casting and youtube working now - mind you I got youtube working with my home wifi (I am not a c+ subscriber)

I got it working after a soft reset. Casting and YouTube works and in the few mins I tested it out in my garage with our home wifi I was quite impressed....Thank you Rivian!! Great Christmas gift (even for someone like me who did not subscribe to C+) 🙏

Quick question: will or should the native YouTube app work right now for folks that dont have C+? I've read about a trial but is that only for SXM or for everything in this update including YouTube?

I put in a ticket today also for lack of proper heat...even at the HI setting I'm getting cool air coming through vents....doesn't appear to be a hardware issue because if I precondition I get nice warm air....but clearly something causing it to blow out colder air when driving

Android user. Non c+ and haven't been able to cast or use YouTube properly. I can connect to hotspot and see rivian as an option to cast but after selecting rivian it has a hard time establishing connection with rivian to cast....going to try a soft reset next

No c+ - patiently waiting. I know C+ subcribers pay a premium for getting it early so I must learn to work on my patience and wait :) - I absolutely see value in C+ and plan on subscribing in the new year after all my Christmas expenses have cleared :)

really? I've read otherwise on these forums so interested to hear what the 'true' answer is on this.....I don't have the update yet but from watching the youtube video posted earler that went through the release highlights it sounded like you could log into your existing sxm account and stream...

I hope they don't make us non c+ customers wait another week :( I will be a subscriber soon....just waiting to test out this release and will then sub
