My comment was a little harsh. The HVAC works fine when on auto. When my passengers try to control everything manually in the front passenger seat and the middle row to opposite extremes, the HVAC tries to meet everyone’s needs and goes bananas in the process.
That’s the context of my comment...
Hoping the Gaithersburg SC gets some relief with the Glen Burnie SC opening up. And +1 for the folks at the Gaithersburg SC being rockstars.
My appointments have taken a few months to get in and a week or two once I drop off the truck.
The EFF put out this guide for determining whether your vehicle is snitching on you.

Yeah, i forgot to mention the intent was to put them on the front wheels. My assumption was a double assumption (ice under the front and rear) and jumped past your point that chocks under the front wheels do help
I was thinking last year about picking up wheel chocks but now am wondering whether they would work at all. If the rear wheels are on ice, the chocks would be on ice as well.
I agree those places exist and will continue to exist for my lifetime. But I also agree with @COdogman that car makers are dragging their feet. If Rivian can produce such a compelling vehicle on day 1, I’ve lost interest in old school automakers.
I’m somewhat surprised more people are not driving performance BEVs. I like the idea of a battery assisting an ICE during launch but expect I would still stick with a BEV. More drive systems and their integrating processes mean more things to break.
Statistics can lie. We do not know what qualifies as an issue in the chart. Maybe there is something in the text. I’ve taken my R1S for minor things, not because my other vehicles are better, but because they do not spark the same level of joy driving as does my R1. I want to get the minor...
/cue obligatory “It’s a design feature, not a flaw!” comment
Ya know this reminds me of one of my dad-in-law’s jokes from his Army days. A young soldier walks into the barracks and sits down next to group who are having too much fun. One says “48, 90, 13” and the others bust out laughing. The...
May add a category for stopping just to see it? We were heading to Massanutten for a couple days and picked up food in Front Royal. And lo and behold! We looked at the screen and were 50 yards from the RAN! Lots of Ooohhhhs and Aaaahhhhs looking at the pull-through stations.
We’ve been to the...

For coiling the air hose, I’ve been using this approach and it works the first time, every time: wind it backwards in the bag.
i can’t remember who suggested it but it makes you the envy of everyone watching.
