Glad OP is ok. Looks like Rivian did its job. When I see these types of accidents where the R1 is totalled, I often wonder how most of us feel/fare. My R1 is a little over a year old with about 12k on it. It looks and feels like it's new. To replace it, I'd have to buy a new one but on paper...

OP-thanks for posting this. Not sure about anyone else but, aerodynamics wasn't on the top of my list when I decided to get a car that was shaped like a brick.

Ben-there are quite a few posts of people buying used that are very happy with them. If you have time, expand you search and buy out of state. You can fly out and drive it back or transport it to you. There are some nice examples here for sale. Run the numbers and see what suits you best. Cheers.

Sam-great attitude! I considered the Defender when thinking about the Rivian. The LR was a nostalgic thought for me but the Rivian won in every way.
