Why are front flaps on the R1T look to extend further down than ones on the R1S? Are they so different that they cannot be used interchangeably? I have a 2025 R1T but I like the shorter extension version of the R1S much better.
You do not need to hide the power cord as it had nothing to do with dash rattles. If it makes you feel more comfortable then you can take the detector out of the car.
What I'm worried about is the fact that this has been reported by many of us for a long while now and there's no fix. I don't see any interest on the part of Rivian to address or respond to the issue. They just say that it's normal behavior. I'd never expect this issue to arise, and frankly am...
Sorry to hear about his health issues and hope he's recovering well. Now with his approval for a go ahead, can you get it going with the fabrication? We want to use it while we still own the R1T.
The answers are No, No, and No. You cannot drive around in launch mode, cannot enable it while moving, and cannot go above 110 mph top speed when not in it. I have tested top speed already.
Style is overrated when your refreshes doesn't charge as good, or audio doesn't sound as good as the outgoing model. The range is way overrated as well...
CT vs MY are so different there's no way they can be mentioned in the same sentence. Who cares about Elon and his CT? Why Tesla has become so successful and the market leader - we all know the reason. Lost market share is meaningless as more EV choices become available. The question is not how...
Gen 2 driver's side flooring has a hump right in front of the accelerator pedal. The Rivian driver's mat has a bigger cutout to clear this hump so it can sit flat on the floor. You can see/feel your Tuxmat has somewhat of an air pocket underneath, right in this area.
I started a chat session with Rivian Support this afternoon. They initially said this is normal and that ALL generations of Rivians do this to preserve battery life. Can't believe they said that! I let them know this is So Untrue! Throttling down charging behavior on the L2 chargers is...
He’s from Rivian HQ so I assumed he has inside knowledge. I’m looking to trade in my Cayenne Turbo Coupe for the Quad when it comes out so that’s what he told me. He said in about a month is when he can revisit the trade in situation of my Cayenne for the Quad. I figured it would be another...
The only difference I can see is that the level 2 chargers rated at 40A don't have this slow charging issue where as the 48A chargers all have this problem. Rivian SCs chargers are 40A, @SeaGeo also 40A and they don't slow down like ours having 48A chargers.
It's a love/hate thing people think when they encounter a Rivian. They love it when they see it standing still, moving slowly, or observing the speed limit. Usually they'd come by and ask questions, mostly about range, and always with compliments on how beautiful it looks. It's when they try to...
