    R1T topper shell by Wakeshield

How limited time is this discount code? Iā€™m interested, but was putting off the decision until Iā€™m back in New Mexico and would be able to pick it up in Decemberā€¦

Current Thinking - Manual vs. Powered Tonneau Cover

I have the Rivian manual cover, and the locking pins both snapped literally the first time I used it. Itā€™s still functional, but I have to use pliers to manually pull the pins back to remove it. Rivianā€™s solution is to install a PTC, but it hasnā€™t come in yetā€¦ I donā€™t use it often enough to...

    Attachments for underside of hood?

Interesting. The Cherokee has one actuator and one hydraulic cylinder. For a much heavier door (especially once I added the ladder). It auto opens and closes, too. I wonder if they Went with two actuators for reliability, or something; the hood is definitely less stiff than a liftgate, so might...

    Attachments for underside of hood?

Nice! I wonder if we could swap in stronger hydraulic lifts for the hood. I did that on my Cherokee when I added a ladder on the back liftgate; worked like a charm!

    Attachments for underside of hood?

The net is stock, Iā€™ve got one. Just seems like an overhead storage spot would be ideal for something you could theoretically want quick access to unexpectedly, if you run into charging difficulties on the road or something.

    Attachments for underside of hood?

Since literally the first time I opened my frunk, Iā€™ve thought it would make sense if the mobile charger could be attached to the underside of the hood, so it would always be accessible, no matter what else I had in there. Iā€™ve yet to see a product that would do that. Has someone made something...

    R1T topper shell by Wakeshield

If the efficiency numbers hold up, I will strongly consider getting one of these. We drive our R1T back and forth between Maryland and New Mexico, and even a small efficiency gain can make a difference over that 2000 mile drive. Itā€™s one of the reasons Iā€™m conflicted about switching away from...

How much pulling force can the accessory ports take?

Oh, theyā€™re real; thereā€™s just not a whole lot of them in places like The Desert, Grasslands, and Above The Tree Line, and even when theyā€™re around, theyā€™re not always in convenient places.

How much pulling force can the accessory ports take?

Yeah, that ā€˜somehowā€™ is the tricky part! I originally had this idea when I was driving a Ram with a long bed, so my thought was to just hang the hammock diagonally across the bed from a ladder rack or something. Sadly the bed in the R1T wouldnā€™t quite work for thatā€¦ I bet you could rig up some...

How much pulling force can the accessory ports take?

No, Iā€™m not trying to suspend my R1T, though that would be pretty cool. What Iā€™m thinking is using the accessory ports to support a hammock rack that could be used if no trees are available. Basically, if you have a long pole mounted to both of the front accessory ports, would you have to worry...
