According to the Toyo website: yes. https://www.toyotires.com/product/open-country-at3-ev/
Also, it looks like they now list the SLs in both 275/65R20 and 275/60R20! Last time I looked they only had the 65. I guess Iāll have to see if I can get those ordered, as Iām planning on switching from...
@Sgt Beavis I canāt remember is you said already, and with 12 pages it would be a pain to go back, whatās your motor configuration? Iām guessing dual, with those numbers? Now Iām really interested to see what we can get with these in a 275/60R20. my lifetimeās 2.45 mi/kWh with the OEM 21ā road...
Looking at these tires on Tire Rack, they give you an option for which side you want mounted facing out, because apparently thereās a different design on each side. However, I canāt find any pictures illustrating the two sides, or even a description of what the difference is.
Does anyone have...
For anyone thinking about these tires, EV Sportline currently has a sale on wheel and tire sets, some of which can include the Wranglers: https://evsportline.com/pages/current-promotions
For anyone thinking about getting the Toyos who would also need new wheels, EV Sportline currently has a sale on wheel and tire packages, some of which include these tires. https://evsportline.com/pages/current-promotions
I was planning on waiting until November, and was still deciding between...
With the conversion, this is spot-on identical to what Iāve seen with the OEM 21ā wheels and tires is my dual max R1T over 8,000 miles. Iām pretty convinced these will be my next tires, probably in November. The only question I have is how Toyoās EV A/T3s compare, but nobodyās had them long...
Fair enough, I was just looking at the EV rated tires and noticed those.
However, it looks like the Toyo Open Country A/T III EV comes in a 34.1ā diameter (275/65R20) for both SL and LT. If increasing the diameter really does improve efficiency, it seems like this would be an excellent choice...
I think this is the problem with literally every thread about tiresā¦ Which version? And which truck are you putting them on to measure efficiency/range?
I would really love to see a side by side comparison of the Open Country IIIs and the new OEM Wranglers. I have the OEM 21s now, and am planning on switching to a 20ā 3PMSF, and it seems like those two are the top contenders (for my needs, anyway).
What wheels do you have? Looks like maybe the Voltaic Rhinos from the picture? Could be a factor, though that still seems like a pretty extreme drop to be caused be wheels.
On a dual-motor max pack? (Iām guessing from your signature.)
Almost 1 mpk drop seems pretty significant. Iāve got the same configuration, and want to maintain my range for long road trips, so I keep going back and forth on changing the tires (I also want 3PMSF and better dirt road handling).
